I am an artist; a photographer and a filmmaker based in Hamburg, Germany.
My work is driven by honesty and curiosity in both my approach to my craft and the subjects I work with. I am fascinated by traditional techniques and have been shooting on various film formats for most of my career -- I also own a boutique stop motion animation studio and have been producing stop motion work for the past few years with and for selected clients (e.g. Universal Studios, TLG, FO, [...])
I studied Communications Design at the Hamburger Technische Kunstschule and graduated with honors. I also attended a bachelor's degree course in film production.
Since 2017, I have been professionally producing and publishing still and motion picture work. Throughout my career I worked for creative agencies like Jung Von Matt, Selectworld, Freshlabs, and more on a freelance basis but in present day I try to focus exclusively on personal projects and direct relationships with clients and creative partners.
I have been diagnosed with high functioning autism.
