"Dogdays" is a series of panchromatic photographs that capture the hottest period of the year at and around Venice beach in Los Angeles, California. The term 'Dog Days' stems historically from the period following the heliacal rising of the star system Sirius, the Dog Star, which roman astrology connected with heat and drought.
